This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued for services purchased from ContourHost, operated by Codifyed LLC. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on new shared hosting plans. If you are not satisfied within the first 30 days of your initial purchase, you may request a full refund of the hosting fee. This guarantee applies to first-time purchases of shared hosting only.
What Is Not Refundable
The following are non-refundable, as costs are incurred at the time of purchase or are provided by third parties:
- Domain registrations, transfers and renewals — once a domain is registered or renewed, the fee is committed to the registry and cannot be refunded.
- Business email and add-on services such as dedicated IPs, migrations, malware cleanup and other one-time services once work has begun.
- Setup or administrative fees, where applicable.
- Renewal payments for hosting beyond the initial 30-day guarantee period.
Renewals
The money-back guarantee applies to your first term only. Renewal charges are not covered. To avoid an unwanted renewal, please cancel before your renewal date through the client portal.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, open a ticket from your client area or email [email protected] from the email address on your account, including your invoice number and the reason for your request. Refund requests must be made within the eligible period.
Processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your payment provider.
Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we are happy to help. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may result in suspension of your account and associated services. Accounts with unresolved chargebacks may be subject to collection.
Abuse
We reserve the right to refuse a refund where we reasonably believe the guarantee is being abused, or where the account has violated our Acceptable Use Policy.
